B.E.E. Strong Dream Room Program
Lighting up Hospital Rooms with Love and Joy
Hospital rooms can often feel cold, sterile, and impersonal—far from the comforting spaces kids and teens deserve while undergoing treatment. The B.E.E. Strong Dream Room Program, created in memory of Briana Emily Escalante, is designed to bring warmth, joy, and a sense of normalcy to hospitalized children across Southern California.
Moon Man Light Projectors
In honor of Briana’s bright spirit, this program features starlight projectors shaped like little astronauts that fill hospital rooms with a calming, starry sky. These compact, colorful lights help children feel comforted, entertained, and at ease in an otherwise harsh environment.
Whenever Briana was hospitalized, she always brought her Moon Man light projector with her. The soft, colorful glow would shine from her hospital room, and soon, other kids on the hospital floor would take notice. They thought it was so cool and loved the way it lit up her room, making the hospital feel a little less scary.
For kids undergoing cancer treatment, frequent hospital admissions are a reality. The Moon Man is lightweight, portable, and easy to throw into a hospital bag, making it a simple yet powerful way to bring light and familiarity to every hospital stay.
You can help brighten a child’s hospital room by donating a Moon Man directly to Carter’s Foundation through our Amazon wishlist. Simply click the link below, and it will be delivered straight to us!

Personalized Hospital Room Makeovers
In addition to the Moon Men, Carter’s Foundation is introducing personalized hospital rooms! Through your generous support we will transform hospital rooms to match each child’s favorite theme, creating a space that feels warm, personal, and full of joy. Whether a child loves superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, or outer space, their room is decorated with themed blankets, socks, pajamas, string lights, window clings, and more—all carefully chosen to reflect what makes them happiest.
Hospital stays can be overwhelming, especially for children facing serious illnesses. Walking into a room filled with their favorite characters and colors brings an instant sense of excitement, comfort, and familiarity. Every detail is thoughtfully placed to make their hospital room feel less clinical and more like a space that truly belongs to them.
Through the B.E.E. Strong Dream Room Program, we are bringing joy, light, and a sense of home to children in the hospital—one room at a time. The B.E.E. Strong Dream Room Program was created in loving memory of Briana Emily Escalante
