How We Bring Joy to Children in the Hospital

Carter’s Foundation brings joy and comfort to children hospitalized or undergoing cancer treatment primarily through toy deliveries. Toy deliveries are made to hospitals across Southern California.

Your generous donations are helping us with the purchase and delivery of these toys, books, and games. With your help, our efforts brighten their days and create moments of happiness during challenging times.

Hospitals We Work With

    • We accept new toys, books, games, blankets, stuffed animals, craft kits, science kits, coloring books, and more!

    • Due to the immune compromised children that receive the gifts, all donations must be new, in their original packaging with the tags on. Thank you for understanding!

    • No handmade items can be accepted

    • No gently used items can be accepted

    • Coloring Books

    • Crayola markers and colored pencils

    • Play-Doh kits

    • Medical play kits (doctor’s kits)

    • Baby rattles

    • Baby mirrors

    • Infant toys (0-2 years old)

    • Musical toys (cause and effect)

    • Pop-up toys (cause and effect)

    • Bubbles (4 oz bottles or smaller)

    • Superhero action figures

    • Barbie dolls

    • Baby Dolls

    • Dinosaurs

    • Legos

    • Craft and bead kits

    • Educational/science kits

    • Tabletop games – especially UNO cards and playing cards

    • Small white boards with dry-erase Markers 

    • Beauty kits such as make-up and lotion kits for older kits (no body sprays please!)

    • Earbuds and headphones for older kids

  • We accept donations at our Riverside office through mail or in person.

    If you are interested in dropping off donations in person, you can do so Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. No appointment is necessary.
